A Family Affair

All too often, families get caught up in the everyday hustle of life and dinner time goes by the wayside. A couple of months ago, I decided to enlist the entire family in a unique ââ?¬Å?Cook your own or starveââ?¬Â? meal. For the main course: shrimp, scallops, chicken and steak and sashimi grade Tuna.

I loaded a bunch of charcoal into one of my grills. Once the coals were white and hot, each family member picked their dinner of choice, seasoned and cooked their own food. We all stood around the Weber grill cooking, but more importantly, talking. The experience was great. We re-connected with each other and saved room for smores afterwards. Give it a try sometime.

What a great idea. Have to

What a great idea. Have to stick with hot dogs and burgers but a great idea!
