This is an extremely easy way to make pork barbecue without using a grill.
In the morning, before going to work, place a small pork shoulder or boston butt into a crockpot, fat side up.
Add absolutely nothing!
Turn crockpot on low. After 8 to 10 hours, the pork will be fall apart tender.
Remove roast from crockpot and discard all liquids. Remove all fat, bone, etc. from the meat and place back in crockpot. With a fork and butter knife, chop and pull the meat apart. Again, the meat will be so tender, this will be an easy task.
Liberally salt and add about a cup of Carolina Pepper Sauce or sauce of choice. You may also add 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke to get that smokey taste. Serve on buns with extra sauce on the side. It's just that easy.
Enjoy!
