Sweet and Spicy Seafood Kabobs

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds sea scallops, Large 12 to 16 count (per pound)
1 pound shrimp, Large 12 to 16 count (per pound) shelled and deveined
For marinade:
1/2 crushed pinapple
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon oil (olive oil is fine)
salt to taste

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add peeled shrimp and scallops, coat well, and allow to marinade for 5-10 minutes. If using wooden skewers, make sure to pre-soak them for at least one hour before placing on the grill. Alternate scallops and shrimp on skewers; reserve marinade. Place onto grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side. Brush with marinade throughout cooking process.
